Hat's off to Ray and Donny for all of their hard work this past weekend. With all of the weather, they did a fantastic job of sealing the track and saving it from becoming a muddy marsh!
Pitting outside of turn one out of the mud, worked out very well, better then a lot of teams anticipated. There were quite a few smiles on fans faces, as they received the unexpected bonus of being able to come in and out of the pits.

That pit access was a great idea. It worked out so well. I have always been a fan of the pits in the infield but this has changed that. Great job Perris and USAC. Great show.

Ditto all of the above, especially the pit thing. Makes the back strech more visible.
