He is the best in the biz and the best play by play out there. Great call at the end of the race .... he almost sounded "horse" at the finish .

wfo81,you are so right johnny stands alone on how to make a sprint car race sound on radio.it is a shame dirtvision allows these track announcers to share the mike with him.he is simply the best
|

It was a great call last night, but I laughed for about 10 minutes when he was talking about Bull Gap and said it had 95 degree banking

You are sooo right. Johnny is by far the best. I took great pleasure in telling him so at the WoO show at Skagit last year. What a nice guy to talk with also.

WoO got lots of air-time on Wind Tunnel and Johnny did a great job with not only the call of the race but his phone interview with Dave Dispain as well. They also had good video of the racing.
