just noticed tk is eligble for it.hasnt he ran a full season already with woo or did he drop off half way tru the season. hes going to dominate it either way

World of Outlaws rule is that as long as you haven't run 60 percent of a season's schedule you're eligible to be rookie of the year. TK has not run 60 percent of a season yet, therefore he's been declared eligible to run for rookie of the year, as are Ben Gregg and Toni Lutar. Cody Darrah was also slated for the rookie race before he was injured. He'll have a shot at it in '11.

2005 and Tim (as the Mean 15 entry for Dennis Roth) made 47 of the 60 some odd WoO A Features...He also had to have at least showed up and DNQ for some of them only to run a B or two.
'Splain how is that less than 60%...
Ok, to be fair, drop the 2 races he ran for Rick Wright in the Vegas Finale and that is still like 70%.

It's actually 62 "A" mains in the 83, including Prelim's and Parramatta. Steve Kinser ran 83 that year, so it's a pretty good bet someone is not calculating something correctly.

I didn't include features from the #35 car, with those www.openwheeltimes.com is showing 66. Perhaps one of those he didn't make the feature?

Also when he started out the season in 2007, they did not call him a rookie. There were six rookie of the year contenders at the start of 2007, Kerry Madsen (eventual winner), Sam Hafertepe Jr., Tony Bruce Jr., Chad Hillier, Zach Chappell, and James Mosher (who dropped off after about nine or ten races). TK was in the 11K planning on running full-time. How is it he wasn't a rookie back then but is now?

Amazing what a little research does... looks like the WoO is wrong with TK being considered a rookie. Even if we are off a race or two, its not like TK is even close to the 60%. It should be a spirited race between Gregg and Lutar to bring home the RoY title!
