From early posts and releases, this year's competition for the USAC-CRA championship will have a different look for sure!
I am assuming that Mike Spencer will be back in the "Lil' Red Sucker" #50 to defend the title. Greg Bragg will be back in the "Moose Mobile" #92. Tony Jones is coming back for more in the "Silver Bullet" #4. No changes here...these guys will be comfortable and fast in the first hot lap session.
Some familiar faces in different (but familiar) rides include Blake Miller in the #7 and David Cardey in his own #59. These guys should have no trouble finding victory lane this year in these solid rides.
Ronnie Gardner should be back in the family #96 and I believe it was announced earlier that Billy Felts Jr. would be back in the #39. I would assume that Rip, Cody, and Austin will all be back in John Jory sponsored hot rods, and hopefully Matt Mitchell will bring out is beautiful #37 again this year. Haven't heard anything from the Kruseman Kamp as to whether the professor will come play, or just field potent machines for rising stars this year. We should see Josh Ford in the family #73 and Matthew Shedarowicz in the #8z.
I've heard that Jake Argo will be in the Argo #19...just don't know where and how often. Where's Rickie Gaunt? Will Jonny Bates bring out the orange #33? Is Tyler Brown gonna be back this year? Will Seth Wilson run anywhere but Victorville this year? Is Nic Faas coming home? Who knows...
In the "Bummer" catagory, Garrett Hansen is out with his back injury and Danny Sheridan is currently out of a ride. Other than that, I haven't read much more about any of the others from last year's top 15 in points (except the "Demon", who just destroyed the competition at the East Bay opener Monday night and will only run a select few races on the West Coast again this year).
Got any other news? If so, please post it...I'm itchin' to see who's gonna be slingin' mud this year...

Thanks for the preview Mr. Bushey. I can only add that Tony Jones and the Alexander team are again looking for new sponsors and of course are needed if they are to run for points this year. I have heard that Ricky Gaunt is in the David Miller #66 this year, but can't confirm that. I hope Sheridan and Cardey (out of town races) are successful in finding race opportunities as they both make Saturday night's exciting. Nic Faas, last I heard (conversation with him at the Oval Nationals) was staying in Socal this year and looking for a ride. Hope Tyler Brown returns and we have a full field of 410 sprint cars this season.

If you "knew" anything, you would be an F-1 fan.

The big news last week was The #18 Kitlee Car Parked For The 2010 Season, due to lack of funds! Now without even 1 race in, they are back? Didn't we hear this last year, out of money, won't be running the last race. Sounding like a publicity stunt.

Is a Kitlee car one of those ones from New Zealand?

Supposedly Sheridan is testing at Victorville tomorrow. Hope everything works out for him. Two or three others are also supposed to be there.
