Save Fair Speedway Press Release - February 7, 2010 - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
This week has been tumultuous and exciting at the same time. First and foremost the Save Fair Speedway group would like to thank the followingsponsors for the great amount of support that exhibited for our two events,

Dan Mugginess Pub - Jim Fields, Operations Manager. Entire Staff at Dan McGuiness Pub Forest Building Supplies; Texas Motor Speedway; O'Relly's Auto Parts;Hooters; Chuck House Restaurant, and Chili's.

Additionally the dedicated support of the Oklahoma Racing Association has been instrumental in raising awareness to the cause. Just to name a few; a special thanks to Allen Crawford, Frank Ditman, Duke Hill, Brandon Jennings, Whit and Steve Gastineau, Rick and Sheldon Barksdale, Chris Lloyd, and Jeff Leep. Their support at our signing party at DanMcGuinness Pub was outstanding.

Our aim and goal is still returning the historic State Fair Speedway to its rightful place, to the citizens of Oklahoma City. Our motivation and drive is at an all-time high. We are driven to succeed like any race driver is driven to take the checks at State Fair Speedway. As we move forward, our train is steaming right along. I want to thank each and every one of our supporters for helping in any way during our events this week.

Like any 500 mile race, we are fine tuning our car, and as the laps elapse we will be around at the finish to take the checks. KEEP CHARGING!

Sincerely, John E. BanksDirector, Public Relations Save Fair Speedway
