Just got word from my sister Kendra that Cody and his dad were on the way to Daytona to watch qualifying when a woman ran a red light and hit them. I was told Cody has a broken leg, don't know if lower or upper leg, and his father was coming in and out of consciousness. Please keep the Darrah family in your prayers.

Brad Sweet will be driving the 91 car tonight at volusia.

How's that for irony, risk your life going 120+ mph one nite, taken out by a careless and/or distracted driver the next. Hope they'll both be ok and get well soon.

Just put an article up on Examiner.com - no new information yet, other than that a couple of KKR team members are at the hospital and waiting for X-rays. I'm supposed to get an update soon, but none of the injuries (from what I know) are life-threatening.

Fortunes changes so quickly. Happens in all forms of racing. Someone gets a great opportunity, then gets hurt before he can show what he can do, someone else steps in and does a fantastic job and it becomes hard for the car owner to not go with his present success. Just hope it doesn't happen to this young man Cody Darrah. Best to the family's healing process and good health.

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

It would be interesting to find out if she was on a cell phone or texting.

From Williamsgrove page....

Joe has been released from the hospital. He is scratched up and has some stitches in his face but nothing broken.

Cody's leg is broken, just below the knee and he will undergo surgery tomorrow morning to repair and stabilize his Tibia (shin bone).

Thank you again for all the well wishes! The Darrah's appreciate everyones support during this difficult time.

I will post updates as we learn more.

~Cara

Hope Cody and Joe both make a fast recovery, and Cody comes back stronger than ever. My prayers are with the Darrah family.
