A shot I took of Fred Linder at East Bay in 1983 in the Nance chassis 3x. Fred was just named as a 2010 inductee to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.
I know Fred drove one of Nance's ultra-lightweight aluminum cars back in the day, anyone remember what year that was?

Lee,
Sweet. Thanks for sharing. That car looks like it means business! No cheesy vinyl stuff here...

Shane Carson drove the aluminum Nance and it's in the process of being restored.

The 3X car pictured above was owned by Harold Kemenah, father of WoO driver Chad Kemenah & Brian Kemenah who is crew chief on the CH #83 driven by Tim Shaffer.
Nice shot, thanks for sharing. Watched Flyin' Fred turn a lot of laps at Fremont Speedway over the years.
