I just heard from a source that in a State Fair food and beverage meeting, it was stated that it was looking like they were going to have to run the concessions at the Speedway one more year. They were kinda letting people know to somewhat prepare for that. Obviously not a done deal, but it is sounding as if we may at least get a farewell season!

Best news I have heard in a week or so. I hope things goes well on the 21st to back up what you heard. There might be light at the end of the tunnel yet. Thanks for posting.

We with the save the fair speedway LLC are not only focused on racing one more year but keeping the track around in the future for many years.

I agree on the long term thats what we all want, but at this point we will take one more year. Then it gives us a whole season to get it together for a real battle.

That is true Randy. I was just letting people know that we are not stopping with this possible one year. You know we all appreciate you efforts and help Randy.
