I am not sure how it will go over, but it is a step in the right direction!! Personally I am excited about it. I do think it may bring more cars down to Ca. at the beginning of Dirt Cup week!

Definitely a good move. Most likely the 5d will get involved a little, but most of the WA teams don't have the budget to race very competitively after Dirt Cup, so I don't see more than 1 or 2 getting involved.

This is awesome for the fans & drivers. You will be able to start in Northern Cali. and spend the week driving up the Pacific coast to the Canadian border. Lots of senery and race tracks on the way. There goes a week of my vacation!
I bet you will see over a dozen NorCal drivers, plus several from Oregon, Skagit and Western Canada make the tour. There should be some "out-siders" as well like Sammy, Randy Hannigan and Wayne Johnson. Chico should have 40+ cars, Oregon races 30+ and Dirt Cup 50+.
The schedule on the flier is listed as follows: June 11th – Silver Dollar Speedway – Chico, CA – $3,000 to win June 12th – Southern Oregon Speedway – Medford, OR – $3,000 to win June 14th – Cottage Grove Speedway – Cottage Grove, OR – $3,000 to win June 15th – Williamette Speedway – Lebanon, OR – $3,000 to win June 17th, 18th, 19th – Skagit Speedway – Alger, WA – $25,0000 to win Dirt Cup 39!

The race at Willamette should be bad a$$. Narrow track with long straights. I have wanted to see a 410 series run there for a long time. Of course now that it is happening I am in TN. HAHA Too bad for me cause I would be doing the whole week if I was still in WA.

It's going to be a fun week. I talked the wife into going. We may rent an RV in NorCal and make the week long drive up the coast and then fly back home to Oaktown.
