He Erich, since you have come forward as the mouth piece of the topic, can you find out or tell us why haven't businesses, big and small that either rely or are heavily dependent on the Speedway, come forward and voiced their opinions and concerns. I'm thinking that a shut down would severly impact their sales which in turn would effect OKC tax revenues.
For example, Smileys, Bishop Racing Components, Brand Racing Engines, Steeleman Engines, Blumenthal Mnf., Buddy Rice Eng. Service, Crankshaft Service Co. Parr Automotive, Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, O'reillys, NAPA Auto Parts, Riverside Salvage, Square Deal Salvage, KP Supply, Ramos Plating, etc, etc and all other businesses that racers and fans rely on.

Well we have been in contact with a few of them already. They have said that the next time there is a city council meeting they will be there. A few of them already have the paper petitons in their stores getting signatures.

in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he
stands at times of challenge and controversy."
