Ah heck, everybody else does it so why not here? Keep it simple and don't beat it to death - headline type only - but what are your top five Oklahoma race stories, news or races for 2009?
1) Proposed closing of Fairgrounds Speedway
2) Inaugural season of NCRAs two divisions in Oklahoma
3) NCRA/MARS late models to Brill Motor Speedway for first time ever.
4) The sad passing of yet more of our racing communitys past.
5) Personally, the growth of my website has seen this whole year.

Jimmy Johnson makes it 4 in a row ,proposed closing of the speedway. , my awesome fireworks display on the last night of the last lap takin the checks at state fair speedway , also the passing of fellow racers ! That's what I can think of at this time .
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

- Pending Closure of Fairgrounds Speedway (AKA State Fair Speedway)
- The Return of Helper Monkey Racing to Weekly Competition (come see us in 2010 at Dutton's and I-44)
- The Passing of Racers Past and Present
- Swindell's 5th Chili Bowl (remember that kids, even though it was nearly a year ago!)
- Re-Opening of Clinton Speedway (yeah, something positive!)

Nothing beats Friday Nights at State Fair Speedway!! But after that:
1. CHILI BOWL - McCreadie, Polimeda flipping out; Swindell pushin' the cushion for 5!
2. Nick Smith's ASCS win at SFS - ( flying around the high side after getting run off Turn 1)!
3. Jimmie Johnson's 4 in a row! And Hendrick Motorsports' 1-2-3 Finish - (minus Junior, of course).
4. First time visits to Devil's Bowl, Cowtown Speedways
5. Sat nights at I-44 Speedway! Great racing, great friends, and DIRT!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! May 2010 bring many more great racing moments!!
(Hopefully at State Fair Speedway!!)

2. Lucas oil Late Models/Lucas Oil Speedway - Billy Moyer coming from 27th to 3rd
3. Nick Smith and Dustin Morgan's battle on the 15 lap final lap at Creek County
4. Terry Phillips and Steve Arpin's show at Texas Motor Speedway in February
5. Brady Bacon passing Brad Loyet off of turn 4 at the line to win Cowtown's big midget race in February
