Slide Job - Welcome to the board. I was not at Bulls Gap, but it sounded like a little of both: good race track and 'the band is back together again', the series is re-united. Although some will be dropping off 1 by 1 until other racing regions start up.
Oh, and don't worry, there is some crappy posts on here as well sometimes.

As the originator of this topic, yes I agree it was one of the better races I have seen in quite a long time from the WOO organization. As Slidejob says, maybe because of the re-unification.

The skinny on the brain surgery is that I was diagnosed with a brain tumor a month ago at KU Med Center in K C KS.We were proceeding with preparations for invasive open skull surgery to remove the rather large mass when we had the chance to discuss our problem with Marc and Page Olson, owners of Lakeside Speedway in K C KS.They described their same predicament to treat an acoustic neuroma which had caused Marc to start losing his balance and hearing. But a friend told them to go to Research Hospital in K C MO and they were amazed to find out about the Gamma Knife Surgery unit there.
Marc went in to have the procedure in the morning and was home THAT AFTERNOON ! We were fortunate to be treated in the same way and went in at 6:30 am and were back home in Raymore,Mo at 3:30pm ! The incredible ability of this type of Stereotactic Radiosurgery to deal with these types of brain tumors is so far above the older style of open skull surgery that we just can't stop telling people about it.
The moral of this story is that instead of being hospitalized for a week and enduring the discomfort of the old style of surgery,we only had to experience the short headache that accompanied this type of treatment. And the end of the story is we are ready to go racing....and the sooner the better !
Bud has become an "authority " on this type of surgery(or anyway HE thinks so ).If you have any questions please feel free to ask him about it and he will be happy to enlighten you.
We are all ready for the opener at Lakeside next week and whatever else we might find along the way.Hope to see EVERYBODY there ! Bud's Bride

Eckert's story summed up Bulls Gap pretty good.

Racing was very good. A lot of down time though. Late night at the track. It'll be interesting to see how Paducah and Pevely compare to Bulls Gap.

Just signed up for the Hoseheads forum..... got tired of the crummy attitude, childish stuff going on in "Other" forum. You folks have positive things to say and I lkie that.
My first question..... everybody liked the racing at Bull last weekend. Was it because it is a great racetrack, or is it because the re-united group is meshing into the premier racing machine it once was ? Personally, I didnt care for the quality of racing I saw last year from either touring body. (And I saw both from coast to coast)
Thanx, guys. Out

I hope the race at Pevely is as good as it was at Bulls Gap,or I am in deep sh*t now!!
If you have a cell phone,e-mail me the
number. That way its easier to catch up with each other on the day of
the race.
I'll be there! Just hope we have nice weather next weekend.
