What are some of the best bull rings, small tracks around Iowa or the midwest that run sprints or that the WOO will be at?

St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington,MO has 410 winged sprints every Sat. Night Spring to Fall. Great racing and I sure wish we could get a WOO show. The fans would pack the place and there would be alot of sprints there as well.

I've only seen them at two 1/4 mile tracks: Bloomington and Princeton,MN. River City in Grand Forks is slightly bigger than that as is Eagle. Last time was Princeton and don't know why they stopped having WoO after 3 consecutive years as the place was packed each time. Guess it had something to do with Dollansky not wanting to spend that much time promoting the thing. That track is pure excitement with the WoO. Anytime your running 9 seconds flat around a high banked quarter-mile with 900HP at your disposal, well, that is an adrenalin booster.

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Some people can't read. Huset's. Cameron is not on the schedule, either is Farmington and never has been. Spring Valley was awesome last year. Don't know about Brainerd. West Burlington not on schedule. Eagle not on schedule.

Princeton was definetly a action track, your eyes focused on wheelstands pretty much all night , River Cities is another tight little place up here in the midwest, Husets isnt on the tenitive schedule? really?where did you guys find the current listed schedule?

XX Speedway in California, MO is the best track you've never heard of.

This is an easy question. Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN and Pevely, Mo. Little chance of being disappointed with the racing.

Princeton, Minnesota's little bullring gets my vote for bullrings. Huset's my favorite track to view a short track race but someone mentioned wheelstands and I can't emphasize that enough with Princeton. You need more eyeballs. With cars sometimes on both sides of you and wheels up, takes some guts.

Eagle has 360's running every Saturday evening during the season. The plan is to have a 2-day ASCS National event this year, and possibly a 410 Bandits show. For the first time in a long time, no WoO show this year.

It's known as the world's fastest 1/3 mile, and for good reason.

I have been to every track that is listed above except St Fracois(rained out both times I tried to go)

Princeton for Outlaw shows is the most classic "bullring" that you will see, with River Cities being a very close second, and the only one that is on the Outlaw schedule.

Husets and Eagle bullrings? Eagle is a pretty sweeping 1/3. I can see Husets being called that because of the walls.

Not sure is the UMSS will get a date at Princeton, but it is a great track to see a show at, and I am a 1/2 mile guy so take that for what it is worth.

One other shout out to quarter mile bullrings is Rik Sandebergs track just outside of Fargo. It is basically like Tri State speedway, tight corners and tiny as all get out. Great place to watch sprints.

I like all of the tracks listed above, but one that was not mentioned is one of my favorites: Cedar Lake Speedway. .

Cedar Lake is a great place to watch also---,but they open the danged thing up at about 3 in the afternoon (last 2 times I was there, 5+ years ago) and if you walk in at 4:30, there is no one there but, there are blankets duct taped around all the "perfect" seating. Looked like a blanket sale. Row after row taped from end to end. do they still open gates that early

Surprised no one has mentioned Deer Creek or Spencer...both great races last Summer...

...also since you asked about others that run sprints around Iowa...the Sprint Invaders visit several bullrings including 34 (also has USAC this year), Lee Co. in Donnellson, Tipton, Jacksonville, Quincy and East Moline to name a few...

Wouldn't it be great if Tony Stewart would step in and promote a WoO race like Tony Bruce does with the ASCS. Then Eagle Raceway could have it all.
