Thanks Chris for being the first to put your schedule on your website....not sure why all the other promoters can't get it done as quickly, guess they know how anxious we all are to find out where and when we'll race and like to play mind games!

Happy to see GLR winged 360's will be there Friday night April 30 followed by Golden State on Saturday May 1 and then Golden State back again July 10. Looking forward to racing at Santa Maria again.

Happy Holidays

Linda...

the Norcal schedule has traditionally been completed after the Promoter's workshop in Reno. At least it was back in the NARC days....

Promoters normally waited until after the workshop to finalize their schedules for their tracks; while GSC and Civil War dates are normally retained by tracks, a few changes in those schedules can affect a track's schedule. Hence the rather delayed announcement of 2010 schedules in Norcal.....

Chuck.....the Reno workshop is over. Was over last week. On skippersparty.net it was stated that Marysville and Handy Promotions would have there schedules posted this week, but I'll believe it when I see it. Anyways I'm thrilled we have a GLR race then GSC the following night. Especially in honor of Doug Fort again.....I may just have to do another bbq for the drivers again like this last yrs. Hopefully I'll see some of my Hoser buddies done this way for the 2 night show. Free camping as well down here. I can't wait for the new season to start!!
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

Is that really a GLR 360 date rather than a Civil War or Kings "Intergallactic National Winged 360" date? If so, that's great news! Glad to see the series branch out a little bit from Ocean. Although I think Ocean is great and really try not to miss any of the GLR shows there, it can only help build the series by extending it to another track.

Nowhere on skippers did I see that either would be posting their schedule this week, maybe you can point me in the right direction. I saw they were meeting with each other to discuss some possibilities about a modified tour and a GSC show.

I would imagine that the Handy schedules take so long to get out because they do handle 2 tracks and 2 series. As far as I know the workshop is only to get the visiting divisions like the dwarfs, bcra, and the series scheduled and then they work on the rest of their schedule after.

Also its good to see the GLR venture out, it always made me wonder how it was called a series when it was only at one track. Although if GLR does become a traveling series, I hope it doesnt detract from Civil War. Pretty sure Northern California cant handle two traveling 360 series,

Not to be a richard or anything, but the GLR series has been a series of races within the schedule at Ocean. You don't need to travel to be a series...

I share the concerns with diluting the fields, but, its good to have some organized sprintcar racing in Norcal that isn't controlled by JPM/Handy. Too much control by one entity isn't good for the sport either.

I'm sorry i misstated the schedule info. regarding other tracks. I should have said they were already working on there schedules. My bad. Anyway's hopefully all the schedules are completed soon so i can make my racing schedule for this next year. Luckily i have a track 3 miles from my house(Santa Maria) to watch racing every week, but i'll be leaving town for other races when the sleds(late models) hit the track at SMS.
