Anyone hear anything? What we have so far is the Mini Gold Cup at Chico in March. What about Tulare and Ocean for March races? How about the Vegas races with GSC joining the WoO. Any races in Socal like PAS?

Tulare WOO is supposed to be the weekend before Mini Gold Cup and Vegas is the weekend or sometime during the week before Tulare.

It would be cool to see a few mid-week WoO shows between the Chico & Tulare dates. Maybe at Ocean, Santa Maria or Petaluma. Placerville would be incredible but they are proably short on seating. It's gotta be rough on the drivers to race Chico and have to wait around all week for the next event when most of the regulars live in the midwest.

Thats the good ol days right there. Mid week shows were awesome I remember the week in between Harvest Classic and the Gold Cup races on Tuesday night in Hanford then the next night or two would be Santa Maria wish it was still like that...

Earlier in the season the talk was having another USAC/CRA show or two, but that was quite awhile back so I don't know the status of that for certain at this point.

I'm hoping for these early spring dates for the WoO's out here but haven't seen anything on the WoO or Silver Dollar website to indicate the mini Gold Cup is a WoO sanctioned race let alone Tulare or anywhere else in California. Sure would like to know so I can start adjusting my work schedule.

I did hear something about another Calistoga date in June (a very good source) while attending the Oval Nationals. Supposedly they are looking for another norcal track to host that weekend for a double-header (Friday-Saturday).The drivers and teams seem to like the Thunderbowl so maybe a couple of dates there next year. And I am sure that Santa Maria will be on their schedule. All great tracks. The (USAC/CRA) schedule was supposed to be out by now, but maybe delayed due to the promoter's workshop in Reno. Perris has added another four CRA dates to their schedule making a total of 16 for next year.

Yes Calistoga has added a USAC/CRA date in June. It was on our camping form that was mailed out a few weeks ago. June 12 is the exact date if I remember right.

The USAC Cra schedule is out minus the June Calistoga date. They have a Watsonville/Petaluma weekend on June 18 and 19 though.

Your correct there scheduled for Perris on 6/12, Watsonville/Petaluma on 18/19 which is also Dirt Cup weekend at Skagit i believe, may mean a handful of locals that do run CRA when there up this way will be gone..

I noticed that the World of Outlaws Friday night show at Tulare is on the same night as the Ocean Speedway GLR Series opener at Ocean Speedway. I hope that doesn't split the Northern California drivers too much. I assume quite a few drivers will race Ocean on Friday and Tulare on Saturday.

That doesn't make sence. Why would Ocean schedule against Tulare in early March. There are several open dates in March. I would hate to lose BK, Statler, Tarlton and a few others from Tulare for the GLR show. Hopefully they change it. We need all the top locals we can get to try and steal one from the WoO!

where do you see an ocean schedule that says there is a GLR race on mar 5th? i looked on the ocean site and all they had under the 2010 schedule was opening day mar 5th. there is no list of what classes they are running that date. i could be wrong but i doubt that prentice would go up against the tulare woo date with sprints at ocean.

to indy and beyond!!
