Saturday night @ Perris Sott D mentioned a national U.S.A.C. sprint car driver returning to So. Cal. full time next year. Damion said in an on track interview that it is not him. Anybody know who the driver will be?

Hagen will be returning to take another try at the USAC National Midget title in 2010 in the RFMS #3 Esslinger Spike/Beast. He'll be at PAS for a few races at the beginning of the season and a few at the end. No plans yet have been solidified for a sprint car ride, although he has been talking to some top teams.

I spoke with Nic Faas during the period where the fans could get out on the front straight during the Oval Nationals and he mentioned that he would be racing in socal next year. At that time he was looking for a ride. Things may have changed however. Good to have him back though.

I asked Billy during qualifying at Irwindale on Thursday that same question. He told me he was selling some of their stuff and that they will probably run a limited schedule next year.Take that for what it's worth.By the way,Happy Holidays !!!!! Catfish

If I recall correctly Scott D said it was a driver who had been racing the U.S.AC. national series for several years. Come on Scott, give us the down low!!!!

Guy I was referring to was Darren Hagen. That rumor was throughout the pits on Saturday that he would be back here next year. Doug's post above states Darren will be staying in the Midwest. Doug is a good friend of Darren's and knows what he is talking about.
