I just read an article in the Parade magazine that came with my Sunday paper. It is about the high cost of going to an NFL football game. The writer focused on a game she attended in Dallas, Texas. It cost her $50 just to park the car. That parking space was about a 1/4 mile away. That is probably not far from the total amount I spent for the last night of the oval nationals. For a family of four, the average cost of going to see Dallas Cowboys game is....$758.58

For the whole article:

Harry, I get your point but I'd be careful about comparing the NFL to sprintcar racing....there is no similarities in the economies. Donnie K is not supporting a $1.2 billion dollar facility or a $151 million dollar payroll. Sprintcar racing is my sport too but I'd never say the ticket prices are a good deal....especially given the paltry pay-outs to the cars.

Rob, where is the love, Brotha? I thought us "experts" stuck together! Naa, I don't want to promote a race.....I'd be afraid Trippie would show up.
