Anyone have a finish for last Saturday's TBARA race at Concord Motorsports Park? Concord has shown how much they value sprint cars but excluding them from all race reports, and TBARA's website is no help either.

I know Dave Steele won. I know Jason Blonde was there. That's all I know.

Thanks for the link Opp Fan.
I was as impressed by the amount of cars that towed from Tampa as I was surprised by the lack of northerners. Are the car specs for TBARA and USCS incompatible?
Did you know that Jan Opperman played on the same high school football team as the father of Jack Del Rio, coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars?

USCS Sprints can run with TBARA.....Johnny Bridges and Adam Jackson both ran at Concord. We were thinking about racing it, but decided on watching the Outlaws instead.
I was told that if we wanted to race, we basically had to have a TBARA spec tire on the right rear and a belly plan to race.
Most of the cars that race with the USCS on Asphalt are dirt cars converted, and with the TBARA, pretty much all of them are asphalt sprint cars....

Steele was flying at the Thursday practice session...we never made it back for the race Sat. but heard from friends that left early due to incompetent track crew / moisture clean up issues with the modifieds that steele was leading at the caution with 5 to go.

I've got a USCS car, and tried on multiple occasions to get information from TBARA about this race. Contacted them through their website several times, and called a number I was given by Desoto Speedway, never got an answer from either. Guess they didnt really need the extra cars, but we were willing to go. Just couldnt afford to show up and then have to buy a spec tire, especially without any info posted on the purse.
Glad Adam and Johnny represented the "northerners" well.....
