Wow, Andy and Marcel could be twins born 45 years apart.
You know we like the last one Gary. Thanks to BF for introducing you to BK. I know you hate me for it Gary but we had to get it done.
Always fun to be at Placerville. Dig the way the crowd gets in to it, not like some other tracks. Not just talking about after the race, I like it during driver introductions as well. Only thing missing was YMCA.
Tough break for Andy Gregg coming so close. If he keeps driving like that a win will come soon.
Good run for Willie Croft.
Man, Jim Skinner can't get a break. Running second in the dash, ( I still say he set Ronnie up and was going to let him win the dash so Jim could get the outside for the main) then cutting a tire. Still a good run for him last night.
Good job by Bill Sullivan on the mic. When the cars are turning 11 second laps in qualifying, it can't be easy to get their sponsors out, call the times, and then move on to the next car. You have to be prepared and organized to do that.
Kudos to George Hague too. Truly a pro in the victory lane interview.
Evan Suggs impressed me in his heat last night. Though just out of a transfer spot, he was running right with the cars in front of him. Is there a rule that if you're from Scotts Valley you have to run number 33? Think Jamie and Daniel Hood.
Jon Maiwald also looked good in his heat. Started behind the invert but was right there looking for the last transfer spot. Good to see Little Stu (Albert) on the crew full time this year.
Looking forward to Tulare. Is it Saturday yet?
