Want to wish Jack well and say "Thank you for the memories Jack". I hope SC&M can find a suitable substitute as there is no replacement. Truely hope to see you at the 50th in Knoxville.

Jack, Your column in Sprint Car and Midget was second to none as was your contribution to all of motorsports.

I was sad to read Jack's article yesterday when SC&M graced my mailbox. His column will definitely be missed and I wish him well in however he decides to ride off into the sunset.

The best ever behind the mic. Sorry to see that we won't get any more from him. Hopefully the golf game gets in the way. Thanks for everything, Jack. Can never repay it all.

Best wishes to Jack, certainly one of the best ever behind the mike. He's from an era when racing had tracks that had both good promotion and quality announcers and racers had balls and no wings.

I just read this last night myself, I too am sad to see his column come to an end!! The only time I ever got to hear him behind the mic was at the nationals, and always thought he was the best I'd ever heard!! Hope you enjoy whatever fills the rest of your days. You are a true hero to the open wheel motorsports world!! THANKS JACK!!!

I had been wondering myself what had happened to Jack Miller. I didn't know about him doing a column in SC&M. Glad to hear Jack is doing well for sure! Wish there were more announcers nowadays with the enthusiasm that Jack had the whole time He was announcing auto races! Most announcers nowadays sound about as dull as me,if I were announcing racesSmile. Bottom line, Jack Miller's heart was in what he was doing most of his life, announcing. I have not heard an announcer anywhere close to as good as Jack Miller announcing auto races since . A good announcer is what makes going to an auto race fun for everyone regardless of what class of racing it is or how close or not so close the racing actually is, period. Happy Trails to Jack in whatever He decides to do at this point, and hope much good health to you as well.

Take Care,

BC

I think Jack had a lot to do with the rise of the Belleville and Knoxville Nationals, neither has been the same since he left!

He created an buzz at both events with his hard work and enthusiasm.
