Here is a shot I took at the 1979 Knoxville Nationals with Steve Kinser behind the wheel of Karl's sprinter using a Denny Mitchell chassis.

Thanks for posting. aahahhh ,,,that was the best of times...That rig looks like it means business! I doubt Karl was worrying much about 'best appearing car',,, Smile ...And the rest is history,,,,

By todays standards thats a Silver Crown tail tank.

Would that run 50 laps at Knoxville without a fuel stop???
