When Evan & Devon both stopped on the track on lap 14 why did they get their spots back? I know Kyle Harris had spun in turn 4 before they stopped, but when in a sprint car race does a driver stopping on track not go to the back? Maybe I just don't know the rules please clarify.

Another great show and car count regardless...very snappy and little down time! Like the change up in multiple B Mains too!
Does Linda L work for the speedway too? All in All...great car count and great racing...TK WAS INSANE THE LAST 2 LAPS!

Not sure, Evan said he ended up turned around trying to avoid hitting Devon who was spinning in turn 2. The official told Evan to line up behind Shane and he did.
Do you know where we can get an engine for Friday night?

i like both tommy and evan but......tommy didn't stop,he kept going. they ruled inadvertant yellow i think.(i don't believe in inadvertant yellows) how many other times have cars spun and stopped while the yellow was being displayed for another car and they had to start at the tail? it has happened to us. if you stop on the track on the yellow, for other than safety reasons, you go to the back. again nothing against evan, or devon, but no one understood that one. how about giving back the lead to a driver that gets passed on a restart and then stops on the track and says "i didn't see the flag wave."
to indy and beyond!!

pretty simple for my mind..they don't race to the yellow..yellow comes out on top of 2 cars that are racing at the flag...they catch the yellow in 2...ok....this is all stupid to me.....the yellow is for somebody else and these 2 spin after the flag and lights..give them a a few feet to see the lights or the flag...it's not like they raced a lap after the flag and the lights or passed the red and the flipped car....coming soon to a sprint car track near you...100+ officials on the infield...just like NASCAR...each with 1 car to police!

i have no idea wtf you just said. you need to put down the Chihuahua and step away from the chalupa. we don't race to the yellow, you are saying 2 cars spun AFTER the yellow, and the yellow was not for them? well if you stop on the track, for any reason, other than a saftey issue, you go to the back. also under yellow you are requiered to maintain your position and keep pace with the other cars. you can't do that if you are stopped on the track. Joe has been around a long time and asked a valid question, as he like the rest of us knows what is the norm. again, not faulting the drivers, they don't make the call. you need to look at the GLR Rules on the ocean speedway site, page 11;
SECTION 5
RACE PROCEDURE RULES FLAGS: YELLOW (CAUTION, MAINTAIN POSITIONS):
1. No pit crews are allowed on the race track during yellow flag. ($50 FINE AFTER FIRST WARNING)
2. If you stop on a yellow you will go to the back of the lineup.
3. Any car that receives two charged yellows in any one race will be black flagged for the remainder of the race, but will receive starting points if earned and/or any position gained at the finish of that race. Being charged with a red and yellow will have the same effect as 2 yellows.
4. A charged yellow will be when a car brings out the yellow flag by their own actions and not as the result of trying to stop to avoid another incident on the track. A car that stops to avoid a problem will go to the back but will not be charged for purposes of the black flag.
5. If a car brings out the yellow but continues (i.e. car does 360, but keeps going) that car will be sent to the back for bringing out the flag. This will not be considered a charged yellow flag for purposes of the two-yellow rule. it is nice you are a GLR fan but you should educate yourself before you open your mouth. (wait a minute, if that were the case i'd never be able to talk!)

It is obvious that the officials don't even know the rules, they may want to hand out rule books to them so they read them so they don't get it wrong again....
