As of this post, Port Doyle, errr Royal has dumped this weekend.  With a 70% chance of rain on Friday night, already soaked grounds, weather affected crowd and the thought of "forking over" a two division show pay-off, look for "GREED" management to "toss the towel in" early Friday!  Saturday night is 60% chance of rain, plus the aforementioned issues and NAPCAR at Bristol, look for Link-Kong to "belatedly" give it up.  Freeing up PA POSSE tier-one teams (No.25 is a definite go) to travel to Bulls Crap, errr Gap, TN, to "cherry-pick" the World of Rules, errr Outlaws show!   Will the porch travel this weekend?  E-Mods.

From WG Forum,,, Williams Grove has cancelled for Friday March 23rd and Saturday March 24th.

We will use Sunday March 25th as a rain date with the Sprints and 358's on the card. Gates will open at 4pm with racing at 6pm.

Maybe some more will head south, Weather don't look good for Lincoln for Sat night. Port CX yesterday

Racing still on at Lincoln. Will make a final call tomorrow afternoon which would be too late for those who wanted to head to Bulls Gap. If it rains out tomorrow night, Lincoln and the Grove will run back to back on Sunday... http://www.lincolnspeedway.com.

Look for a Sunday double-header here in Pa!

It could be worse, you could live in western Ohio!

ELDORA SPEEDWAY OPENER POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 7

ROSSBURG, OH (March 23) -- A late winter blast of artic conditions in February, coupled with a rain-filled March has forced a cancellation of Eldora Speedway's planned March 31 opener. It was to have featured the wingless Sprints of the United States Auto Club (USAC), along with the UMP (United Midwestern Promoters) Modifieds and Advance Auto Parts Stock Cars.

Heavy rains over the past two weeks have severely hampered the pre-season track preparation efforts, and after conferring with officials from USAC, the cancellation decision was reached.

Eldora Speedway's 2007 season will now kick-off Saturday, April 7. In competition that night will be the Sunoco sponsored American Late Model Series, along with the UMP Modifieds and Advance Auto Parts Stocks. Please visit www.eldoraspeedway.com for all of the track's current news and ticket information.

Weak Tony, really weak!

from the look of the "push truck of tomorrow" (POS - COT)...a blade could be fitted to the front and track prep could have been underway weeks ago.

Wouldn't you know it, two Posse guys who've been rained out virtually all year moaning about somebody else who has the same problem, figures. Worry about your own lack of racing or lack of competition with the big boys but leave smarter people out of it, lol. I think we got us some Tony Jealousy, so typical for a Posse fan. Take It Easy....

No excuses not to leave the porch now!! Can't wait to see if any of the Posse will care to venture out or stay on the porch and polish their local wheels again and again and again and again.....

Lol...yeah, right. Maybe if they call in the National Guard to shuttle them in C130s... It's over an 8 hr trip one way and Lincoln cancelled at lunch. Hopefully Nouse and crew went however...we'll let a rookie team with one race under their belts handle our light work...lol.

I can understand the frusteration that all the fans, drivers, tracks and everyone else is having in PA and OH with all of your bad weather and rain outs! We had a really wet year last year in California and didn't get our season started until the end of April. I hope the weather gets better and you can get some races in. I learned that you guys even get rain in summer months, which is something we aren't used to here. I am really looking forward to going to some races in your area of the country in Mid June, either Learnerville or Williams Grove. Try to stay positive Smile

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

For Kevin and the BG Motorsports team it will be a big victory to make the show and get some seat time in their 2nd race together. If they don't at least they were able to race, that's more than the rest of us were able to do. Best of luck Kev.
