Just wanted everyone to keep Travis Rutz in their thoughts and prayers tonight. Travis was involved in a wreck at Terre Haute and is currently in the er at Methodist Hospital in Indy.

Roth Motorsports and BK Motorsports wanted to send prayers and best wishes to the Rutz family and hope everything turns out as good as possible.

Travis is a great driver from the NW and one of the best from that area and I've always enjoyed watching him race. One of the very best and most exciting young talents on the West coast.

Very True, Gar. Rutz is a lot of fun to watch. Great kid. Just hoping & praying he pulls through (this is hitting the fans up here pretty hard too).

Hope and pray for the best. No doubt sprint car racing can be dangerous.

Best wishes for a full recovery. I really enjoy watching Travis race and he seems like a great kid. Hate to see this happen.

I received word today that long time northwest car owner Mike Doyle (Doyle's Harley Davidson 1hd) is has slipped into a coma after his his appendix burst and sent poison into his body. This has not been a good couple of days for the racing community. Our thoughts are with the Rutz and Doyle families.

Statement : Wednesday September 30th 2009 5pm :
From Doug, Kathy, Kenny & Lisa :

Surgery went well today Trav was in there for about 5 hours. Doctors believe they stopped the artery leak behind his left eye by about 99%.He is resting now and should start coming out of the induced coma in the next few hours. His vital signs are very good as of now. We as a family are staying strong with all your help. It is truly amazing to read some of the message boards and see how many people are thinking of Trav. In the next day or so we will start reading each and every post to him. again thanks for all your prayers. Doug,Kathy,Kenny and Lisa

Get well Travis , we are praying for you, day by day, hour by hour may God give you relief from your pain and healing from your injuries. We pray for God to restore you completely. May God bless your family as they rally around you in this time of crisis. Richard Crumley Sr. Crumley Motorsports, Roseville Ca.
