Eddie Leavitt on the cushion at Knoxville in the Dick Morris sprinter. This shot was taken by me in hot laps the night Larson and Dawley were killed, Eddie was also involved in that terrible accident at the start of the feature.
I have some great memories of the two time Knoxville National's winner in the R&H Farms 40 car and the Aden 4j winning those Nationals back to back.

Eddie's the best, hell with the rest!! Nice pic. King of Kearney was always my favorite.

Lee, nice pic....
My first two Nationals were the two that Eddie won in 1975 and 1976.....
Good memories....I'll never forget Ronnie Roa(?) in the Leonard Faas King O' Lawn sprinter entering turn one wide open and never lifting. It was the first time that I'd ever seen a sprinter enter a corner without lifting...my jaw dropped about a foot, then....
