It was a dry slick huggy pole race, for the most part. Rough and slick. I was amazed that Eric Baldaccini and Ray Allen Kulhanek did so well. Also Sean McClelland as he spun early in the race and came form the back (and he let it known who he thought was responsible for his spin) - but the track was about impossible. I'm amazed so many did as well as they did. In fact - in victory circle when they were interviewing Kevin Ramey he asked if they were going to race there again this year. The announcer said no - and Kevin said "Thank God". Does that tell you how bad the track was? It was not only dry slick but also rough... according to the folks I talked with.
