He raced at Chico. Fuel line problem in Qualifying. 1 lap at the end. Still was 2nd quick. Had to start the heat behind the 6 car inversion. Still transferred. Couldn't start better than 9th in the main. Which he did start 9th. Got into a mid race collision when charging through the pack and went to the work area around lap 3. Came back out and started at the rear. Charged to finish 6th. Even if he didn't get in the wreck I'm not sure he would have had anything for the #6 who ended up winning.
