Here is the news everyone has been waiting for. The ASCS2 Midget series will have a minimum of 18 shows around Oklahoma and north Texas. They will run in conjunction with the ASCS Sooner Series. Tracks will include Oklahoma City, Lawton and Cowtown. We are also talking with the ASCS Lonestar Region tracks about sanctioning races. If the Lonestar region gets on board we will be looking at over 30 shows next year. They will also run at the Tulsa Shootout this year. The midgets will run a complete show during the Shootout. This won't be a exibition race. This will be your chance to capture a golden driller just like any other class. The shootout will pay $1,000 to win. The weekly races will pay $750 to win and $75 to start the feature.
Hopefully some of the surrounding tracks will come on board to make 2010 a huge innaugural season. Stay tuned for more info. As always you can call the ASCS office at (918) 838-3777 or me at (918) 381-3292.

That is what I always hear is the downfall of having midgets race here in OK,.
