New Chico State freshman Alissa Geving will be featured on the Ch12/24 News tonight on the Silver Dollar Minute. Alissa who is the two time defending Petaluma Speedway track champion will run her first 410 sprint car points race of `09 tomorrow night at the Silver Dollar Speedway. Good luck Alissa.

i would think so.. she will be going to chico state next year. so who knows, we could have her for the next few years. i bet a lot depends on the economy though. so we'll see.

I have not talked with her about that. Maybe something will be announced on the news or at the track tomorrow night. The TV guy was in such a rush I did not get a chance to ask. It does seem logical that she would want to race in Chico on Fridays. I think she plans to go to school here for four years.

I see that she's listed as one of the driver's at the autograph session in Calistoga on Labor day weekend. Is she racing in the show? It would be great to see her strap into a wingless 410 on the big half mile! She had a good showing in Petaluma during the USAC/CRA show there............
