Get a hold of JD he would know the answer to that question better than I would.... But the talk in the pits was a few was going to pull down. So I hope somebody knows something they don't need another deal like what happened last year......

I sent JD a message, hope he can answer this for you all. I would love to see a lot of you all down here this weekend. Track is looking good, and I think its going to be a very FAST track.

It's not looking good weather wise for tomorrow. Will this be rescheduled if it rains out? If so, will it be an OCRS race?

I have no idea at this time, as soon as I know you will all know. Keep an eye out on the message board here and the Oklahoma Sports Park website: http://www.oklahomasportspark.com

Thank you,

The question for the okc cars is rather or not the carbs are going to be legal. I know of possible three SFS regualrs that are thinking about heading out that way. Although, the carb issue has people gun shy.

There is no issue, OCRS carb specs are posted at OCRSracing.com. We use NASCAR tractable dies for a 5 point check legal carb 500cfm.. If you have not cut up your carb it should be fine. These specs we set by Holly long before we got into carburated engines. We would be glad to check any ones carb before the races or any time during the week. I work in OKC allot and would be glad to check and carb, it takes two minutes. We are not trying to Isolate the SFS, CCS or Meeker cars. We want all of you to come and have fun with OCRS. We have tried our best to be consistent with rules for many years and I think that has kept many tracks from making rule changes that would keep cars from running at different races. We talk with almost every promoter over the winter and let them know what we are doing and our plans. The way the cars are now there are a 20 cars around the state that could win an OCRS event at any race track.

We try not to classify a car as a SFS or CCS or a Meeker car. We look at all of them as Champ Sprints and work to keep them as competitive as we can and be very conscious of every tracks local rules.

I look forward to see every one, We have a ton of racing left with a BIG BIG Show at Enid to end up our season. The ADA State Champ trophy is a cool one again this year. As the years go along you are going to want your name on the bottom of that trophy like Mike Goodman 2007 and Danny Smith 2008.

Keep Smiling
