This will be my first visit of the year to Pville and I am brining four other people. I hope to find a decent seat as we can't make it there until 5:30 PM.
Who else is coming?? I am hoping for a 26 to 28 car field with some of the Chico regulars coming down for the GSC finale.

I wouldn't miss it. The most enthusiastic fans around are the fans at Pville.

5:30......I hope you don't mind dirt in your beer or all over you. Theres usually a line forming around 3 o'clockish. At least that's what it was when My buddy, brother and I went last year to the civil war race there and damn hot as well. If you can get there earlier you'd be better off for seating purpose's IMO. Have fun anyway's, i'll be at Santa Maria Speedway watching(sigh) the taxi-cabs run.....oh well at least i don't ever have to pay to go to the races, so that's a plus i guess.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

It was a great night of racing at Placerville. I can't remember an August race at Placerville that the track didn't turn in to a dust bowl by the A main but last night the track was dust free and vicious. Twenty two cars started the A main and I think eleven were still running at the end. Walker and Allard put on a memorable battle in traffic for the lead (one of the best of this season) with T-Dubb showing how much he wanted that record victory.
