deserves a big thanks for his efforts on behalf of the GLR 360 series this year.
His timely reports and in depth information on what is going on has helped keep everyone up to date, here in the local area, as well as across the racing comunity. His objective of just wanting the fans to know what is going on results in write ups that make you feel like you were there for every lap. so if you see this guy wandering around ocean speedway at the up coming Johnny Key Classic, or at at any other GLR 360 series event, take a minute to say thanks Gary Costa!

I'll say it, "thanks gary costa" - for all you do on behalf of sprint car fans in California.

WOW! "This Guy" is not very photogenic! Thanks for the kind words, as they really mean a lot to me. But the real thanks go out to all of you who allow me to enjoy the best form of Motorsports that was ever created.
The GLR Investments 360 Sprint Car Series races are hard to cover. There’s so much intense racing action going on allover the track, I end up missing a lot of it. I also like being in the pits with all of the drivers, teams, and my friends too, so it probably does hurt the write-ups a little I’m sure – but I’ve got to be in the mix! I love being at ground level when those cars are whipping by me – exhilarating!
John Prentice and the staff at Ocean Speedway are doing a fantastic job. I can’t thank John enough for the opportunity. We’ll keep working the bugs out, as JP is very determined to make this deal work.
I have a lot to learn, and a long way to go however. Guys like Troy Hennig, Gary Thomas, Bill Sullivan, Ron Rodda, and the rest of the California scribes are the real heroes. Those guys are in another league as far as I’m concerned.
The background in the picture basically says it all: The fans, the cars, the drivers, and the crews – that's what it's all about.
Respectfully,
Gary Costa
