Brown ready to begin season
By Gary Thomas

March 15, 2007... Grain Valley, Missouri’s "Blackjack" Brian Brown is set to begin his 2007 U.S. racing season at this weekend’s 34th annual Spring Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas. The event will be sanctioned by the O’Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National Series and nearly 50 of the nations top drivers are expected to converge at the historic ½ mile dirt oval.

Brian will be back behind the wheel of the Tim & Gina Doogs owned No. 21 Maxim this year, which carried him to 15 wins last season and a runner-up finish in both the Knoxville Raceway 410 track championship and the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock, Arkansas. The team put in some hard work during the off-season and they are very eager to hit the track at this weekend’s Spring Nationals in Texas.

For 2007 Brian plans on running about 75 races in 12 different states. His primary focus will be trying to win the Koxville Raceway 410 track championship after missing out on it by just five points last season.

Brian has many great sponsors on board for this season and they include: Ditzfield Transfer, American Compressed Steel, Michael Ross Memorial Foundation, Housby Trucks, K & N Filters, Hostiowa.net, Yeagers Harley Davidson, Champion Brands, Shock Doctor, Weld Wheels, VK Graphics, Bell Helmets, CP Pistons, Paul’s Auto Body Supply, Butler Built Seats, Rod End Supply, Winters Performance Products, Simpson, Racing Optics, Pro Shocks, Dake Law Office, Wes. Mo. Auto, Don’s Truck Wash, Sunshack Tan, McCroskey Chevrolet, Gardner Farms and Hoosier Tires. Stay tuned for future updates!

The action at the 34th annual Spring Nationals gets underway this Friday with a preliminary night of competition for the ASCoT and then concludes the following evening.
