Anybody know if the races are still on? It stormed like crazy here in des moines and looked like it was going to hit k-ville for sure, maybe it hasnt yet but it sure looks like it will. any updates? I cant find a phone number for the track on their website. I'm just sitting here at the hotel wondering whether to go or no?

Yeah that stinks. It says on the website the "event will not be rescheduled".....thats stupid. Why not just run it tomorrow night up againt the the races in oskaloosa... sh*t happens, why not just run monday. I realize the crowds will be split and what not but its a big let down for the fans who wanted to see this event. You would think even with a lesser crowd tomorrow that they could afford the pitiful purse

the FRC is a much more popular race, and i think people who may have had tickets to both would go there and then maybe see basically the same usac show on tues as they would have seen tonight. also guys who might have popped off the wing tonight just might put it back on tomorrow, so why add insult to injury with the possibility of loosing fans and drivers? i am sure there are people who would be leaving after tonight anyway. i don't mean to be negitive, just trying to be realistic as i am sure the promoters were. why chance having two sub par races so close together on the same night?

I can definately see both sides, but I'm a fan this week and not a promotor so I'd like to see as much as possible, but see ya in osky tomorrow i reckon.

i feel your pain. i hate when stuff gets rained out. still it is good they are not stepping all over anothers shows date. there is enough racing going on there in two weeks for everyone to get their fill. plus osky runs about the same show in two days anyway.

Hoseheads Live has some pics of the Non Wing Sprints. Anyone know who is driving half of those cars in the pics. Is or was there an entry list for Sundays Race?

Steve, it's not abig deal, just a suggestion...
Can you find a way to add a "forward/backward/slideshow" button to your picture postings? It wuld make it a bit easier to scroll through the pics, instead of having to open, then close, each shot...
