I don't understand why they wait Cody. JMO, but the better picks are done early what with the low car counts. Unless you don't mind making the same picks as your opponent. What's the fun and challenge in that though?

yeah I hear ya - it's a damn good thing we do this league in head to head matchups!
can you imagine if we didn't - yet had 40 picks - can you imagine all the ties! lol. It sometimes as if there are just a dominant few in certain classes - although that logic falls apart when those same dominant drivers get 3 dnf's out 4 races later in the year. But at least with the head-to-head - you are only goin' up against one other team - and their 1 pick (main pick).

I try to pick early so I'm not forced to pick someone I don't really want to pick. If have to pick after my opponent i won't pick the same ones. That's point dude. It's a competition not a try to tie.

I understand your strategy. I used it some last year. I'm just saying it really isn't much of an advantage with everyone picking the same few cars every week . I know the point is to win and not tie. You wouldnt know it by looking at my record, but Im the returning champ. Ha ha.
