After struggling with brake problems throughout practice, Jon Fogarty went out and shattered the Watkins Glen International short course qualifying record Thursday, capturing the pole position for the Crown Royal 200.

could be right Mike. I found Tom in my archives, but I could swear I had Jon in there too. Regardless, the Gainsco Stallings team is making the glen a nor cal shootout between Pruett and Fogarty.

You are correct, Mike. Tommy Fogarty is the brother that raced with GSC a few years ago.

Jim, Two CCR members were John and Tom Fogerty. They went to El Cerrito High School. I went to high school with younger brother Dan Fogerty at St. Mary`s High School in Berkeley. Dan was one year younger than me. And that is the truth. CCR had a tune called Susie Q in 1968. The rest is history. I swear that this is all true.
