congradulations to one of the finest fire and safty crews on the west coast or anywhere ive been. last night tyler wolf in the #19 coming out of turn 4 had an axle break and go through his fuel cell. he was immediately covered in fuel and fire as he got the car stopped on the front straight. no longer had the car stopped than the fire crew was all over him and the car preventing tyler from seious burns and the lose of a race car. CONGRADULATIONS AGAIN FOR A JOB WELL DONE .

Tyler told me later that he did not use to wear his nomex gloves all the time. Now he always wears them every time out on the track. He was fine. Great job by the safety crew. That one was scary, but very well handled. Well done SDS safety crew! Fire fighting efforts are included in clip.

you know, i am on the fire crew out there and i want to say thank you for recognizing what we ALL do out there. it's not just the fire crew, but all of the push truck drivers, tow truck drivers, other personnel, and if you notice there was even a photographer out there putting out the fire( go steve cox!!!) but everyone contributes. we were busy fire wise out there on saturday between zimmerly, kaeding and of course tyler wolfe. It's nice to hear the good stuff. thank you

It was a flaming weekend at Chico, and the fire crew did an outstanding job! Now the track-prep crew left a whole bunch to be desired...

track seemed racy... tyler walker from 21st to 3rd. there was a lot of passing except up at front, the rest of the pack sure was passing all over. one hiccup in the beginning, they fixed it, track was great...

What race had more than 2 cars passed in it early in the evening, the answer is none... Track sucked big time like it has all year!!!! Must not have heard what MANY time king of california Brent Kaeding had to say in his victory lane interview. Me thinks he might know!

The track was racy. Obviously you weren't watching the same main event as we were. The 82 went from 19th in lap 9 to finish 7th. The 24 went from 21st on the start to finish 3rd. There was a good race for the lead from lap9 to lap15. If the 83v didnt flip I'm sure it would have been even better because he looked to have the strongest car out there. There was an early open red and people made some wrong adjustments and you got to see them go backwards and likewise people made the right ones and moved forwards.
The track on Friday night wasn't as good as the track on Saturday. So hopefully you're talking about Friday night.

well said!! totally agree. saturday was racy. brent complains about every track every week. he may know what he's talking about, and may be one of the greatest of all time, however, there iswnt a race in california that he doesnt complain about the track. saturday was a badass track. i agree bout friday
