I think the car count in Santa Maria will be similar to what they have been having recently.
The two series rarely mix, only a few teams from either run with other sanctions. SMS and the WC360's have been doing well this season. I am glad to see it.

I'll be at Santa Maria and I will have a great time, that much is certain! The talent pool this year in the WC360's is fantastic. Watching Danny Sheridan, Peter Murphy, the Vanderweerd boys, Justyne Hamblin, Wes Guiterez and many more go at it has been oustanding! The race from the 4th of July was one of-if not THE best-race I have seen this year. The track prep has been soooo good that I wouldn't be surprised if we see another leader battle just like the July 4th. Bottom groove, middle groove and a groove for those who are fearless right up on the wall. This race and the grand slam coming up should be edge of the seat events. Heck the race from a few weeks ago in late models with Mike Kirby the winner was OUSTANDING! He rode the fast highline to perfection and Steve Drake masterfully worked the bottom and middle. I can't wait for saturday.

Shoot I almost forgot to include Danny Faria and Greg Porte in the list of talent running SMS this year both those guys are good enough to pull into victory lane on any given night.
