Quite a weekend for the Kaeding clan in Chico.
For Second Straight Night, A Kaeding Win At SDS

Hundreds turned out to the Silver Dollar Speedway Saturday night, hoping to take in a spectacular night of racing and an equally impressive fireworks show.
In both cases, SDS delivered.
After Brent Kaeding won the 410 sprints main in dramatic fashion Friday night, it was Bud Kaeding's turn to do the same on Saturday.
Bud Kaeding navigated his way through a competitive field and claimed the checkered flag at the 12th race of the Golden State Challenge-King of California Sprint Car Series, edging out Tyler Walker and Jonathan Allard, who finished second and third, respectively.
Turning in a time of 12.058 seconds, Allard also delivered the fast time during qualifying. It was another near-miss for Allard, who claimed second place on Friday after Brent Kaeding held him off.
Visiting the raceway for Independence Day were the popular dwarf cars.
Daniel Weger finished first in the 07n car, while Mike Grenert and Ryan Winter followed in second and third.
Action will resume next Friday for point race No. 13 in Withrow's Motorsports/JP's Paint and Body Works Night. The 410 sprints, wingless sprints and dirt modifieds will all be back, while the street stocks have the evening off.
