This is the first day in 11 days that a McCarl subject was not on the first page. It just didn't seem right.
aslo i dont know why people rag on peaple about spellin and punctuation these sentance are so easy to read its like you dont know when a sentence starts or end maybe you should check yourself on how you learnt to read

Don't get me wrong, Skinner, but every year I get sad when the Nats. come just because it's basically the climax of the Summer. (no pun intended)
Looking forward to seeing you guys out here. I'll put some rockers on the porch so you'll feel at home. hehe

I know what ya mean with being sad when the Nats come. It's all downhill from there. I can only hope for a good points battle for the season championship.

Hey thanks for the invite to stay at your place, we'll cancel our hotel reservations.
Also if you could have plenty of beer and those drinks you guys had at Eldora last year, if I remember correctly they were called Pit Lizards. The red fruity/punch stuff....they tasted awesome!!

I know exactly how you feel Savage about the relating the Nationals with the season being about over.
Break it down even further and compare the excitement the night 360 Nationals are just kicking off to the night morning of the 410 Nationals! Damn depressing I tell ya!
I wish Knoxville would go with an annual late September, early October race like they did last year for the WoO make up race. It just dont feel right with it still being 90 degrees and racing season being over.

The tip of the iceberg for the depressed around eastern Iowa after Nationals...
August 18 - Lee Co. SIA
August 24 - Plymouth USAC/Badger
August 25 - Knoxville or Sun Prairie USAC/Badger Midgets
August 26 - Sun Prairie USAC/Badger
August 31 - J-ville MASS 410s
Sept. 1 - Season Championship at K-ville or Firemen's Nationals at Angell Park or Powercom IRA or two days at Lake Ozark SIA & WOW
Sept. 2 - Duquoin Ted Horn 100
Sept. 8 - Jerry Richert Memorial at Cedar Lake or Bloomfield SIA & 305s or Hut Hundred at Terre Haute
Sept. 9 - East Moline SIA
Sept. 12 - Spencer, IA WoO
Sept. 14 Burlington SIA or J-ville Midgets and Sprints (MASS)
Sept. 15 Tom Knowles Memorial or Lake Ozark WoO
Sept. 22 Lee Co. SIA or Wilmot WoO or Eldora Four Crown & Kokomo WoO on Sun.
Sept. 29 Plymouth IRA (I would recommend everyone see this event once)
Oct. 5 J-ville All Stars & MASS (should be a good one)
Oct. 6 Terre Haute USAC
O.k., then you're going to have to drive a ways, but don't miss:
Short Track Nationals in Little Rock - Oct 25-27...

Don't worry B'dub, I said climax. There's still time to cuddle.
NO STUBB!! Once a year is enough of seeing you people. And, yes, I mean the little people.
