Another outstanding nite of racing at Naylor's "Roar By The Shore". Kevin "Anydody But Kierce" won the feature with Kruser on his nerf bar 2nd and Josh Ford 3rd. Looks like Kierce is on his way to his second championship in a row. Senior main won by Rob Kershaw with Bobby Michnowisz 2nd and Jeff Culver 3rd. Jack Lauer took the modified feature with Jack Parker 2nd and "Awesome" Austin Rodarte 3rd.
Logan Williams finished 8th in the junior focus midgets. Logan is the third racing son of recent inductee to the sprint car hall of fame Rip Williams. The whole Williams family was there with Logan racing Wally Pankratz's focus midget. I see on the 4th all four Williams's will be racing. Talked to Becky Williams and she is proud as punch over Rip going into hall of fame.
On the fan side Ralphie, chairman of the "keep Scott supplied with cervasa" commitee and Don Read, ex SCRA official were in attendance along Dwight Cheney's dad and Walt Hauser and Mel Beauchamp.
Hope to see everybody at Perris on the fourth. The liars bench racing group will convene at 2:00 PM in the parking lot with Gary in charge of refrshments.

One question - did Mr. Kierce drive with only one glove tonight. Congratulations on your win and I can't wait to get back to the PAS for the holiday race..

Great job by Kevin Kierce. He all most got Kruseified but instead taught Corey what happens when a slidejob comes up short. Way to show you got BRASS. I hope Corey doesen't send you a bill for the right rear wheel, "He" stated, that you ruined causing him to loose the race.

Did Cory actually say that, or is that what you think? From the video, It looks like Cory held back from his slide job as to not wreck them both.

It may have been against the rules to drive with only one glove,so to honor his pledge Mr. Kierce drove a portion of the race with only one hand on the wheel. lol

Lots of upset people in the pits. Guy Woodward and company for one. Video looks like the lapped 48 of young Kierce was running the low line and moved up in front of Guy. The 24's down tubes were only about 16 inches apart from what I saw.
One of Corys boys got dusted for charging into another racers pit with an attitude. Sweet.

Ralphie.- Too funny. Tyler Edwards first year in a 360 sprint. I think he will be good. He was set up for the bottom and he stuck to the game plan. Props to Tyler on his 4th place finish.
JayP.- Woodwards crash was all Justin Kierce's fault. He 'manned up' and publicly apologized for it. I wish he had held his line and Guy still had a chassis. That's part of racing, unfortunately.
And Cory's' crewman was pissed when the 76 car got within inches of the quad pushing Cory. Buckley loses any respect for that idiotic move. If he is a man, take it out on the guy that you are mad at and not the kid on the quad. Loser.
I missed the Hendrix crash. He is one tough guy though.
What can you say about K. Kierce? He is the man at Ventura. I never knew he drove that good one handed. Great racing all around.
JMO.... Kenny

Rick just went straight off the front stretch. Not sure what happenned up front because everything was broken. Messed up the car and yes he is a tough, tough racer.
Cory gave Derek some serious brake checks and he gave a rev in return. Should have ended there but....well you know tempers flair. The kid on the quad is supposed to be over 16 to be in the pits and he looked a young 14. Do you know his age? He needs to drive that quad a LOT slower.

I agree, the slide job didn't work. Kevin was too high in the groove and was carrying way to much speed for Cory to make the pass.
Funny thing is, Cory was calculating for the win and didn't care if he crashed Kevin and that is extremely dangerous and should be banned.

Cory ran me clean, He knows that my car is 94 inches wide and he left me 96 inches, I was just able to squeeze through that 96 inches where some guys wouldnt have tried and or just let him in, or tried to turn down and pull a cross over move.
Thanks for all the kind words, it was a fun race.

Justin changed his line. He was running low and moved up the track. He knows who was at fault.

I see guys change their line all the time figuring out where their car hooks up best or,sometimes if they are slower, just trying to get out of the way. Seems to me that the car that is overtaking has to show the guy in front of him a wheel before he/she is taken into consideration. I wasn't there, but looking at the video clip it doesn't appear that Woodward ever got his front wheel up far enough that young Kierce could see it to know that he was there. Looked to me like Justin might have been trying to move up high so that the faster guys could run underneath him and maybe he didn't even know Woodward was there. That said, if Justin says he was in the wrong then he probably was. To me it just looked like one of those things that happen when things are happening real fast on a racetrack. JMO
BTW That was quite a tumble that kid in the Mini Dwarf took at the beginning of that video clip.
