If you want to drive across the river to Pella which is northeast of Knoxville on County Road T-15 you will find a lot of nice eating establishments and shopping as well if you want a diversion from racing stuff. Also I hear the Hall of Fame still has spots for their golf outing at Bos Landen in Pella (which is now open). If you're a golfer bring your clubs. Challenging but nice course to play.
