It is official. The 1998 Cedar Lake Sprint car Champ and 2001 Wissota National Sprint Champ will drive the remaining UMSS season for Dave and Margaret in the 34TW. I can't wait to have my brother and friend race again. I have really missed him. Thanks to Davey and Margaret for putting Him, Joseph and me together again.

Okay,
Let's go ahead and make this officially official, Joe! TW Motorsports is very proud and excited to announce that Jimmy Kouba will be driving the 34TW sprint car in the UMSS Series for the remainder of the 2009 season. Although Jason Tostenson was 2nd in the UMSS points, he decided he could no longer drive for the team for personal reasons on Sunday, June 21st.
Greg Gunderson will be driving the 34W on July 3rd at Kopellah Speedway with Jimmy Kouba making his debut in the 34TW car on that date as well. Jimmy will also be driving the following day at North Central Speedway in Brainerd for the Kouba Memorial. We welcome Jimmy and his wife Jamie to the team and are excited and happy to have them back in sprint car racing, especially for the Kouba Memorial race, in memory of Earl and Ethel Kouba. Earl is being inducted into The Midget Hall of Fame in Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend and we couldn't be happier for their entire family.
See ya at the races,
Dave & Margaret TW Motorsports

Thanks Dave and Margret for this great opportunity to race again. Jamie and I are looking forward to racing and having fun working with you both. See you all soon!
One correction: Dad is being inducted into the Big Car Racing Association (BCRA) hall of fame. The ceremony is at Bill Smith's Collection of American Speed Museum. This year's inductee's include Buddy Taylor, Curt Stockwell, Ray Lee Goodwin, and "L'il Joe" Saldana as well as other notables from the past five decades of racing. Shoudl be a fun time.

That photo was 19 years ago at Rock Rapids, Iowa. Jimmy drove his #2K and I drove #39. It is great to have Jimmy back racing and I look forward to go racing with him again!

Odds are Matt was more than "just out of the picture"... most likely his was about to lap me. Chasing him and Cliff at Rocky taught me a ton about driving bull-rings.
