Based on the feedback I had from my column last week on track promotions, I had the chance to talk with Chris Kearns at Santa Maria Speedway on Wednesday. I can't thank him enough for taking 15 minutes or so out of his busy schedule to chat with me. Please feel free to read the article and let me know what you think.

Really good article,Mr. Kearns has done what most promoters fail to do ...he brought the community and the racers together......plus he really knows how to lay down a great race surface....Santa Maria's back to it's glory days of the '90 's....
