Carwash we thought we were racing tomorrow, just left after having dinner with Gary and Cindy and Gary heard they'd cancelled us for tomorrow. Still waiting to see or hear something final!

It was too bad the rain came because the track was in awesome shape, definitley the best I have ever seen in Medford.
On to Cottage Grove where we seem to have a good forecast.

On southern Oregon speedway they have a make up date July 11. July 11 was Santa maria. So Santa maria is cancelled now? Also on their message board it said it was the gsc officials that wanted the Sunday race cancelled why when everyone was up there already. The track promoter wanted to race Sunday.

The July 11th date was already up on thier website before the weekend. I believe this is a make-up for their sprint car main that was rained out on May 30, and has nothing to do with the GSC race.

We were at Medford for a tuesday night race a few years ago and it rained about 4-4:30. They cancelled then it stopped raining and never saw another drop all night. George and I went to a movie and saw "Cars." They seem to have a problem getting it together up there. Of the ones I did see at So. Oreg. the track was a joke anyway!

It's too bad they cancelled for Sunday day. There are a lot of people in Medford from a long ways away to not at least try to race. Why would the GSC officials want to not race here???
