I just read in the USAC results that Wes was involved in an accident during Midget Week at Bloomington Speedway tonight. Apparently, he flipped the 07 Walker entry in the fourth heat race and was transported to Bloomington hospital. Any word on his condition would be appreciated.
Your in our thoughts Wes...hopefully it was just for observation and everything is okay!

Re: Wes Gutierrez
Page 8 of the (Indiana Open Wheel board - Bloomington thread) describes young Gutierrez hard flip in a heat race. It is described as a serious flip with the ambulance transporting him to local hospital. There is a post stating that he is ok. May be more info on this 16 page thread - its late and I thought I would direct you there. Can't read much more but hope that the young driver is safe tonight and this morning. The midget race sounded like a great show with lots of action.

I just got off of the phone with Wes. He was released from the Hospital last night. He is fine and will be back in action tomorrow at Kokomo.
Respectfully,
Gary
