Kings Speedway Celebrates Dairy Month

With the Dairy Industry playing such a major roll in the economy of Kings County, Kings Speedway will honor Dairy Month at the June 20, Saturday night race.

In addition to winning the Milk Can Trophy, a MOO 40 and a MOO 500 will be featured.

The non-winged West Coast Sprinters along with the IMCA MODS and Stocks, the Crate Late Models and the USAC ΒΌ Midgets will round out the race ticket for the night.

Coming off a 24 car A Main the last night out at Kings, the IMCA Mods will anxious for another night of racing. Regulars such as Jimmy Reeves, Glen Olsen, Keith Anderson will do battle with the out -of-towners David Addamo, Greg Mancebo and Brad Pounds. With this great competition, the IMCA Mods are rapidly becoming crowd favorites.

Likewise, the West Coast Sprinters will certainly field a full field of cars. Justyne Hamblin will certainly have her game face when she faces off against the likes of Michael Faccinto and Peter Murphy.

To salute the Dairy Industry of Kings County, Kings Speedway will provide FREE Ice Cream for all.

Another reason why Kings Speedway is the Place to Race!

Sorry but Mr Faccinto and Mr Murphy will not be there. You should check with people and teams before you advertise that they will be there. False Advertising?

Chris Kearns stated it in another thread. It's 95 @ 100 feet which means you do not have to use those VRA rules at there speedway. The sprintcars were a lot louder then in previous years and IT SOUND GREAT!! Anyone else notice that as well?

rj I'm sorry your gaurantee is wrong. Chris K and I (Jon from kings) discuss anything and everything about the WCS, before we announce anything to the public. WCS will allow any muffler as long as the cars stay under 95 @100 feet. Kings will have a meter out checking all classes. As stated many times we try to research as much as possible before making changes. I hope this clears things up WCS are ran at 3 tracks with the same rules at all 3 tracks.

Thanks

Jon from Kings

I'm sorry i was stating from a post a few day's back on here, but that was regarding the USAC/CRA Rules and not WCS rules.....my bad. Shouldn't have to be that way for S.M. anyway's since it is a PRIVATE track and NOT a fairground facility, but oh well that's a topic for another day i suppose.

Remember to join the Fun at Kings Speedway. in Hanford

We have made restrictors 1"7/8 for our sprint car teams. They will be available at the pit box.

Who will win the main event and receive the 10 gallon milk can trophy this year. Will there be a new name on the can???

Those are the VRA rules. 95 @100 ft tested with one car on track at a time. Same as all California fairgrounds or tracks with noise issues. Why are you so down on anything VRA??? Oh, wait....5150 says it all.

What rj5150 is saying is what most race fans think, restrictive 180 degree mufflers suck.I don't believe he said anything about VRA that was degrading just that their mufflers leave something to be desired. For those of us in attendance at the last USAC/CRA race at Santa Maria we all heard what sprint cars should sound like. They were much louder then when they are FORCED to run those suitcase mufflers. I hope the same muffler allowances are made for all future sprint car shows, it was great to hear!
