I see that Dustin timed 5th, was 3rd in his Heat and started 12th in the A Main. He finished near the back and the press release mentioned a red flag but doesn't say what happened. It looks like Dollansky and another driver I'm not familiar with that also started ahead of Dustin finished near the back as well. My guess is that there could have been a wreck in front of him that Dustin got caught up in but I can't find out the specifics.

I was thinking about listening in but ended up too busy baby sitting to tune in.

Do you know what happened? Was he caught up in whatever caused the red or did he pull of with mechanical problems.

For this being an area that doesn't have much Sprint Car racing I'm proud of the guys with local ties. Craig sets quick time, Schatz is running good and Dustin times fifth and runs third in his Heat with a decent starting sport in the Feature. That's a pretty decent showing for coming out of an area where most of the racefans think Wissota Street Stocks is big time racing wink

Polesitter Sides (7S) got crossed up on the initial start, and wadded up several cars behind him. The 75H, and the 7 of Dollansky both were damaged. and Dollansky may have even flipped softly. Repairs were made to the 7 and he restarted at the rear. Just before the race was due to restart, it was mentioned that the nosewing had laid down on the 5 car. They assumed it was from the intial scrambling of cars avoiding the flip.

Lindquist started the race, and pulled in shortly afterwards. They did not say what the problem was.

Dustin was involved in that 1st lap accident when cars in front of him crashed, Dollansky did flip, Dustin had wing damage and possibly a bent frame, don't know for sure, haven't talked to him yet, but that's what someone else told me that is down there.

Yes the accident on Friday caused some sort of motor whoas so he had to pull the car in after 2 laps.

They replaced the motor Saturday morning and if you read on the next post they blew this motor up.

Rough weekend for Lindquist Forbrook #5 team.
