Well sometimes things happen and decisions must be made…..Daryn is now the driver for Keen Motorsports driving the #17. We would like to thank Pete Postupack and the Pete’s Motorsports team for providing us an opportunity to race with a great team and great group of people. We truly appreciate it! Thanks for the hard work Brian, Jerry, Will, Kevin, and everyone that has helped us since February. The team tasted victory at Grandview last week and Baby Taylor had her first victory lane picture made! I am sure it will pretty cool when she is older that she was in victory circle at 2 months of age! The team also had great performances with the WOO finishing 5th, 6th, and 5th again! It is true that you have a racing family and we consider Pete and Kathy part of that …thank you very much for everything from giving us a ride to selling shirts to helping with Baby Taylor!

It has almost been one month since I arrived in PA and everyone, especially the fans, have been very welcoming to us. Thanks! It is so nice to be back at the race track and traveling with Daryn. I never realized how much I missed it until returning. Taylor is awesome at the track too. She usually sleeps in the baby carrier and does not seem to mind the dirt or noise, which is a good thing considering she is going to grow up at the track! Daryn will be racing with the #17 crew starting this Friday, at Williams Grove. Our schedule will be changing a bit in the next few weeks so that everyone can get acclimated with each other. We thank the team for the opportunity to drive for them and are looking forward to victory lane!

We've been fortunate to have Pittman here all year racing, best of luck in the 17 no matter the plans from here! I know we'll still get to see plenty of the 17 in PA, but this should speed up the learning curve for the team and I'm sure any top notch mechanic would love to work on a car Daryn's wheelin. Best of luck to Daryn, along with Pat Cannon (presumably back in the Highlands car) and Aaron Ott (presumably full time in the family 410)!

All is well except if your Pat Cannon, its a shame that Jessie Keen didn't give him a fair shot, with a good crew chief, everyone knew his son had no idea what he was doin. But that racin these days.

I agree with you. Hopefully Pat can get back in the Highlands 3.

I'd say he got decent shot. Jesse put Shawn aside and hired Matt Anderson. Jesse didn't like the results of the Keystone Cup with his new crew chief and wanted another change. So, it's not like he just gave him the boot without trying something else. We all know Pat can drive and maybe he'll explain what he thought was the problem. Good luck to everyone!
