Good job kicking my butt last week. Not one of my sport mod picks raced. That really sucked. But thats how it goes sometimes, good job on your picks really.

Just give me a line-up and we will be good to go, I understand that I am behind the 8 ball on this deal, but we have come from behind before.

I guess its worth mentioning now.
Last week Wes and I agreed that if Cheaters! didnt pick this week - he was out of the league. Evene a few weeks ago - there seemed like there would be 3 teams there would be issues with. 2 of the 3 were punted - and now the 3rd too.
I talked a lil to Unc - who feels the league is a ripe for a Circle Jerk return lol. So Cheaters! out - Circle Jerks in.
It's really cool to have ya back Unc. The 3 teams who replaced the 3 were punted - I am trying to keep track of their stats since they joined. I figure if they play the rest of the season without missin' any weeks - I'll try to come up with a percentage type deal so they can have a record that is truly reflective. So that they can be where they belong on Championship Weekend - and not have previous losses counted against them that were not theirs. I mean the records will say what they will right now - standings wouldn't make sense if they didnt. But if all 3 teams (full throttle, D Town, and circle jerks) play every week - I'll make sure that come post season - they will be where they truly belong - based off THEIR OWN performance.
Again - good to have ya back Unc. the main thread (post) will reflect this change. give em hell Unc! and get me some lawn chairs! lol
As I said before - it appeared there would be 3 issues. all 3 have been solved/replaced. nothing against them - hopefully we can have em back next year full time and them play. But gotta do what is best for the Fantasy League this year, and this was obviously best. Thanks very much to Allen, Adam, and my brother Dallas for joining us. I can't think of any more "issues" we have at the moment - and just hope that it remains that way. Last week was very fun. We only had 2 miss and one is gone and the other won the Super Sprint A Feature. Congrats Team 77 on that A Feature win. But boy that is an obvious bittersweet irony lol. I think whenever I am against you - I am going to pick you, that would be a hell of a curveball lol
I hope this can be the first week we have all 40

Due to technical difficulties which were finally resolved today, I was without internet for the past two weeks. I don't plan on that happening again, but just in case, I would like to make some default picks that should be put in place should I not place picks for some reason. These stick throughout the year, and can be superceded by fresh picks
DEFAULT PICKS:
Super Sprints: myself/ Chris Burns
Champ Sprints: Brian Bishop/ Joe Wood Jr.
Pro Stocks: Jared Hicks/ James Beane
USA Mods: Tony Anderson/ Jesse Buntin
Limited Modifieds: Shane Lupi/ Cody Whitworth
ASCS National: Jason Johnson/ Danny Wood
ASCS Sooner: Kolt Walker/ Danny Jennings
ASCS2 Mini Sprints: Kevin Bayer/ Jerrod Wilson
and I think that covers it for the rest of the years events. Hopefully I won't have to use these picks too often.

respectfully,We aren't going to do default or back up picks this year. I'm not completely against the idea of a back-up line, or default picks........but if something was going to be changed - it wouldn;t be this year - it would be next year. Doing weekly picks on this site is a perfect fit right now, but the more I think of it - it makes sense to make this a viable option next season.
I'd like by next year to have a site for it - and then each team that opts to make/have a back up line can keep it on there - so that all of their opponents can view it there. If done now opponents would have to either sift through past threads - which is a pain in the ass for them - or ask me during the week what their opponents picks are - which is a pain in the ass for me. And really they couldn't ask me during the week, because many do make their picks on thurs. evening/friday - so opponents would literally have no way of knowing WHILE AT THE TRACK what picks they are up against. and many like to keep track of that through the night.
In the end, logistically it's not very reasonable to do it now or this year, for several reasons. But I agree with the logic - and think a few changes should be made for next year that we can do that and it not present challenges for opponents to know who they are up against. But with respect towards those in favor of the idea, it won't be this year. I do agree in principle, and we'll have something in place to better accomodate folks next year. As for this year - in the rare event someone has absolutely no internet access. You can call either me or Wescoe and run your picks off real quick and we'll post em for you. Stuff happens sometimes, it happened to me last year. and in the unfortunate event something does...... My name is Cody - and my # is 405-295-1422. I'll let wescoe post his own. you can even send me a text message from your cell to [email protected]. that may be best for most.
I'm not going to make that kind of change this year. But it will be addressed for season 3 in 2010.
